Chad George moves to Dynasty an other News

Beitragvon moe » 01.02.2010 10:01

- ProPaintball.com insiders report that Aftershock’s Drew Templeton and Pat Roberts of the All Americans were picked up by VICIOUS over the weekend. Following on the heels of VICIOUS announcing that Billy Bernacchia of the Hurricanes had joined the team, Drew and Pat wearing VICIOUS jersey’s would be major pick ups for the new pro team. With that being said, we expect big things out of VICIOUS in 2010.

- Brian “LB” Fow of LA Infamous is said to be moving out west. Word has it he left his job at KEE Action Sports (his choice) and is in the midst of a move to be closer to his family. Rumor has it he may be playing with Aftershock for 2010.

- Brandon Rittinghouse is said to have been released from Tampa Bay Damage. Brandon was spotted playing with the Palm Beach Vipers on Saturday.
ProPaintball.com insiders inform us that neither Nicky Cuba and John Richardson will be playing with the Ironmen in 2010. Not sure on the details, but will have some follow up information shortly.

“Sacramento XSV are happy to announce that they have signed Chris Wilson (commonly referred to as L.C.) to the roster for both NPPL and PSP.

Chris has played professional paintball with both Bob Long’s Oakland Blast and the Portland Naughty Dogs for some time now and his aggressive playing style and drive to win are going to be a big part of XSV success for 2010.

L.C. added, “I am very excited to be a part of the XSV family. I know for sure I am going to be a big part of this family for a long time. The fans want to see blood so I will give it to them. I believe loyalty and discipline are key to a successful life. You cannot simply run away from your problems and challenges, hard work pays off.””

Pro Paintball team Sacramento XSV has been part of the Eclipse stable of teams since the inception of the Ego paintball marker back in 2005. With that being said, we were a wee-bit curious when Pro Paintball.com insiders informed us that the team may be switching to the Alien Paintball markers in 2010. Rumors had circulated that Rich Telford has been testing the Alien Independence paintball gun throughout the off season and according to the paintball news release below, Rich is very happy with the guns performance.

Placerville, California (February 8, 2010) – Alien Paintball announces the signing of professional paintball team Sacramento XSV for the 2010 season. Since their inception in 2003, Sacramento XSV has been known for their top tier finishes and for using the best equipment. They are proud to shoot the new 2010 Alien Independence.

Rich Telford, owner/captain of Sacramento XSV said, “I’ve know Jack Rice from Alien for a long time and we’ve always been friends. It’s really exciting that Alien is finally in a position to work with XSV at such a major level.” He continues, “It was an incredibly hard decision for us to switch gun sponsors, but Junior and I have both been shooting the Independence for a few weeks now and Alien makes a solid gun that I believe in. The gun has a smooth, calm shot plus it comes with the Critical trigger and Tadao electronics; if we didn’t think we could win with it, we wouldn’t shoot it.”

Jack Rice owner of Alien Paintball commented: “This is great, XSV is legendary and I couldn’t happier to have them shooting the Independence this year. It’s been a long time coming, but with KEE Action Sports distributing our guns, and now XSV shooting them, 2010 is going to be a fantastic year”.

Look for Sacramento XSV shooting Alien Paintball’s 2010 Independence at both the PSP’s Phoenix Open on March 19-21, 2010 and the NPPL Surf City Open in Huntington Beach, CA on April 9-11, 2010.

Drew's Statment zum Wechsel zu Vicious

Beitragvon moe » 09.02.2010 19:39

Drew Templeten Ex Aftershock Spieler:

I’d like to say that I’m excited to play with players and an organization that is not only focused on winning, but is willing to put all the hard work in that’s needed to do so. This is the third team Ive played on that’s been coached by Greg Pauley. I’m excited to have his experience again now that I personally have some more experience, or at least more than I did back when I played with him on Diesel and Avalanche.

Dogs gehen mit Dye

Pro Paintball insiders have informed us that the Portland Naughty Dogs have signed a multi-year agreement with a major paintball company. With the teams former sponsor Smart Parts currently experiencing financial hardship, it was only a matter of time before someone picked them up.Pro Paintball insiders have informed us that all signs point to the Dogs using head to toe DYE gear, shooting DYE NT’s and possibly Myth regulators and custom bottles from Guerilla air. This would be the second multi-year agreement from DYE that we have heard of in the last couple of days, the last of which involved San Diego Aftermath. Interesting to note, both the Naughty Dogs and Aftermath had previously been using DLX and Shockers from Smart Parts.

New Rumors..

Beitragvon s7ibä » 04.03.2010 08:35

· Planet Eclipse and the NE Hurricanes have reportedly parted ways. That means that the Hurricanes EGOX we showcased around World Cup 2009 won’t be hitting store shelves anytime soon. This marks the third high profile paintball team to leave the Eclipse stable for 2010; Sacramento XSV is now shooting the Alien marker, LA Infamous is now shooting Bob Long Victory’s and now the Hurricanes? This begs the question, is Planet Eclipse refocusing resources to pay for DYNASTY?

· Aftershock had a scheduled practice with Indianapolis Mutiny over the weekend. ProPaintball insiders reported that Aftershock flew in players and drove 6 hours, lugging along 90 cases of paint only to spend the weekend scrimmaging against themselves as Mutiny was no where to be found.

· With that being said, Aaron Tholey of Mutiny was seen trying out for XSV’s pro PSP squad. We caught up with Tholey who filled us in. He will be competing in the NPPL with Mutiny and if everything works out, competing in the PSP with XSV.

· Speaking of Aaron, yesterday we showcased a first look at XSV shooting their new Alien paintball guns. In the photos there is a glimpse of Aaron Tholey in his Mutiny gear shooting a Vanguard Creed. Could Mutiny be the first pro paintball team to shoot the Creed?

The road to the NPPL 7-man season opener in Huntington Beach is heating up. Pro Paintball teams from across the nation are making last minute preparations to insure their rosters are on point and their game plans are set. Read on for the latest paintball news from Tampa Bay Damage, DC Arsenal, Portland Naughty Dogs, San Diego Dynasty and Edmonton Impact.

Tampa Bay Damage

Justin Rabackoff of the Russian Legion will be playing with Tampa Bay Damage in the NPPL 7-man series. Also joining the team is Jacob Edwards who will be making his pro debut. Paintball definitely runs in the Edwards family; Jacob is Jason “FK” Edwards younger brother and is a killer. Its always cool to see the brothers playing together. Damage had an amazing run at PSP Phoenix Open and with the team picking up both J-Rab and Jacob, the team is looking exceptionally strong for NPPL Huntington Beach.

DC Who?

Last week we broke news that Tom Fore and his team DC Arsenal would be sitting out the 2010 pro paintball season. Shortly there after, pro paintball was informed by insiders that the Naughty Dogs would be filling in for Arsenal. Here is how its going to work out; the Naughty Dogs will be under the Arsenal franchise, so on paper they will be competing under the name Arsenal Dogs. However, on the field, the team will known as the Naughty Dogs. The Dogs will be sponsored by DYE Precision, Guerrilla Air, Draxxus, Exalt, and Nox Products. In addition, we have been able to confirm that Collin Lasater of Arsenal will be joining the Naughty Dogs for the 2010 paintball season.

Another insider has indicated that Oliver Lang of the LA Ironmen may be playing with the Naughty Dogs for Huntington Beach. Last year Oliver joined up with DYE team DC Arsenal, so with the Dogs being a DYE team, the rumor appears plausible.

The Eagle flys with San Diego Dynasty:

Earlier we had received information that Glenn might be playing with St. Louis Avalanche but sources indicated that this was not the case. Pro Paintball insiders confirmed that Glenn “Eagle” Takemoto will be playing with San Diego Dynasty.

Pro Paintball Rematch: Damage vs Impact at Huntington Beach?

San Diego Dynasty and Edmonton Impact will be practicing this weekend at Camp Pendleton Paintball Park in Oceanside, CA. Last weekend we heard that Impact, Vendetta, and Explicit were battling it out at Capital Edge Paintball Park. With Ryan Moorehead, Josh Davey, Justin Cornell and Dave Baines, Zach Yachimec and Josh Ouimet, it goes without saying that Edmonton Impact has a very solid roster. Could we be looking at a rematch between Damage & Impact next week in Huntington Beach?

Hmm, das nenn ich mal eine gute News. Ich mag es Angel gönnen :)

Taken from Catshack Reports:

Birmingham, UK, April 6th, 2010 – - Angel Paintball Sports is proud to announce a partnership with professional paintball team Indianapolis Mutiny for the 2010 season. As Mutiny hits Huntington Beach this week for the NPPL season opener they will be using the Angel A1 FLY to dominate the competition.

“It is no secret that we have been looking for a USA based professional team to partner with for some time. In the past we have shared great success with teams such as Avalanche, Dynasty, Russian Legion, Miami Rage and Joy Division and we feel that the guys on Indianapolis Mutiny have the ability and now the equipment to match these teams’ previous performances. The team has a great outlook towards the game and we know that their professional approach both on and off the field will bring positive results for them and all their sponsors” commented Frazer Colley, Angel Paintball Sports.

Tommy O’Donnell, Indianapolis Mutiny said of the deal, “I recall the first high end gun I bought at a time when PUSH was transpiring and the Angel ruled the world. It’s ironic to see things come full circle over the course of a decade. Support and backing is what this team needs to grow wings and APS offers nothing less. We tested a lot of tournament markers this off season and the Angel A1 FLY exceeded our expectations. The balance of speed, weight, reliability, and ball on ball accuracy will help us make it happen in 2010.”

Aaron Tholey of Indianapolis Mutiny added “I grew up shooting Angel and idolizing all of their teams. From Rocky’s Doo Doo Brown LED to Joy’s A1 Fly’s I’ve always been awe struck at their speed, accuracy and overall performance. I can’t wait to get on the field with these new machine guns!”

Matt Green, CEO of Angel Paintball Sports, said “We are proud to be sponsoring a team associated with the Midwest for the first time. Indianapolis Mutiny have the right image and playing potential to be a exciting promotional vehicle for Angel Paintball Sports. We are really looking forward to working with them and the team’s other sponsors in the new 2010 season.”

Angel Paintball Sports is a premiere paintball sporting goods manufacturer based in the United Kingdom. Brands include Angel™, Fat Boy™, A-ball™, and A-Box™.

Indianapolis Mutiny is an NPPL professional paintball team based in the Midwest United States.
